That’s right kids... It’s a new year and I’m getting older so why not throw the biggest, dirtiest, most outragous a house party to celebrate!
On Commercial Road there is a house, Where Cybil's known to dwell. This Halloween she invites you all, To follow her to HELL!
You are invited to take part in a study being conducted by Professor. Corinne Squire, of the School of Social Sciences, University of East London. The aim of the study is to explore the requirements, expectations and experiences that people have of support for living with HIV.
In addition to its academic value, we hope that the study will have relevance for policy-makers, as well as interest for people living with HIV, affected by HIV, and the wider public. This is not a medical study, and it will have no significance for participants' medical conditions.
The study involves one interview, of around an hour, which will be taped and transcribed. The interview will be at a time and place to suit you.
A fee of £25 will be paid. Interview transcripts will be available if you want them, as will copies of papers emerging from the study.
Transcripts and tapes will be archived in the Centre for Narrative Research Archives at the University of East London. If they are also archived in the Economic and Research Council's Qualidata archive, a repository of nationally significant material, it will be preserved as a permanent research record primarily for use in research and publication, under a set of terms and conditions agreed by the investigator.
In this study:
*The researchers will treat all interview material as confidential
*Each interview tape and transcript will be given a code number to protect its anonymity.
*The research, including references to and quotations from interviews used in written papers and spoken presentations, will preserve interviewees' anonymity. All potentially identifying personal or institutional references will be removed from transcripts.
*Interviewees are all volunteers. They can stop the interview at any time, or refuse to answer any question.
If you have any questions about the study at any time, you are welcome to contact the
