Lady Gaga was reportedly so happy about the latest ruling in the California Prop 8 saga that she almost instantly began to write new music to celebrate the monumental day.

Following the latest news that the Prop 8 ballot, which happened in November 2008 and barred gays and lesbians from tying the knot within the state of California, was overturned in the ruling for which took place on Wednesday by Judge Vaughn R described the referendum as discriminatory and therefore violated the US Constitution.

Gaga, 24, who has long been an advocate for gay rights and seen as a gay icon, was reportedly overwhelmed by the decision sparking new inspiration for another hit tune.

Her latest video for single ‘Alejandro’ was dedicated to her gay fan base and the video features some very homoerotic scenes throughout.

The openly bi-sexual singer posed on her Twitter site: "At the moments notice (sic) of Prop 8 death I instantly began to write music. Bubble dreams forever! Full equality! This is just the beginning! Rejoice and celebrate gay communities and straight all over the world. Our voices are being heard! Loud! Scream loud Americanos!"
