American singer Lady Gaga’s official website has crashed due to heavy demand to watch the video of her new single Alejandro.

Gaga said that the album is about the “purity of my friendships with my gay friends, and how I’ve been unable to find that with a straight man in my life.”

New York-based fashion photographer Steven Klein, known for his work with Madonna, directed the video, reports the Telegraph.

Alejandro is the third single from her best-selling album Fame Monster.
