However Lambert, who performed at G-A-Y last Saturday, has quashed rumours about his new star-searching venture.
Speaking about the rumour, the singer cleared it up on his MySpace page: "I keep hearing the rumour too, unfortunately it's just a rumour. I would be honoured to be asked - but I think at this point I'm just focusing on my career as a recording artist."
Speaking about his future as a recording artist, he said: "To be able to work with David Bowie would be amazing, his imagination and creativity are beyond - he's an icon.
"I'd also like to sing with Christina Aguilera - I love her voice, I've been a fan since she came out and I think we would throw down and we would be loud.
"I would love to work with Rihanna - she is so down to earth and sweet and kind and friendly. Her tunes are so catchy and visually she is just giving you beauty."
The singer also revealed that he fears of finding love: "I have a fear of being alone - not being alone by myself, but I want to fall in love, and grow old with somebody and I just sometimes get scared that it's not going to happen."
