One fourth of the hit band Blue, Ryan spoke openly about the time it has taken him to find the real him and not conform to society.

The singer, who has been living in Los Angeles and written over 1000 songs over the last four years, spoke about the moment his band mate, Duncan James, came out as openly bi-sexual.

Lee, 26, expressed that he has always been comfortable with his sexuality and other people’s sexuality. According to the Metro, the singer said that he much prefers to go to a gay club rather than sit in the local and watch the football.

In a chat with Guilty Pleasures, Lee, now comfortable with who he is and his interests, says he is happy with his wife Sammi Millar and their son Rayn Lee Amethyst after spending many years soul searching: ‘A lot of people go through that and that first transitional stage...All my early 20s, I hated completely. I just didn’t know who I was. Society puts a strain to conform and stand in line which I hate – it’s not right.’

After a four-year break the singer released his debut single Secret Love today and will be performing at G-A-Y Heaven this Saturday.
