Outspoken comedienne Sarah Silverman has made her viewpoints on equality very clear as she stated she wouldn’t marry her new boyfriend until the LGBT community are granted the same rights.
The star of “The Sarah Silverman Programme” has constantly made controversial comments during her stand up routine but when it comes to equality she isn’t afraid to say what she believes in.
Silverman, who has recently begun dating a new man, made it clear that she won’t be walking down the isle anytime soon. She wont get married until gay and lesbian people can get married and she doesn’t understand why anyone who is for equal rights could get married now.

Speaking to MTV she said “Not only would I not get married, it actually actively bums me out that anyone who is for equal rights would get married right now,”
“There’s nothing different between that and joining a country club that doesn’t allow blacks or Jews back then…Who needs to get married that bad that they’ll be a part of a club like that? This is embarrassing. It’s embarrassing.”
