Lambert to perform at GLAAD awards

Adam Lambert has announced that he is to perform at this years Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) awards this year.

Not only will the controversial singer be singing at the awards but the star is also up for the award of 'Outstanding Music Artist.'

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the previous American Idol runner up said about the chance to perform at the event: "GLAAD has advocated for out music artists, including myself, and I am proud to be part of the 21st annual GLAAD Media Awards this year,"

The ‘For Your Entertainment’ singer will take to the stage in Los Angeles when the event takes place on April 17th.
