More about the LGMCe
Members of LGMCe (formerly known as Far From Kansas) are auditioned from within the ranks of the Europe's largest gay choir. They perform at private hire, corporate and charity events, parties, arts festivals, weddings and civil partnerships and on TV and Radio. Clients have included BBC (with Dolly Parton on The One Show), Google, The Samaritans, Absolute Radio, Sainsbury's and memorably, at No.10 Downing Street for the Prime Minister's annual LGBT soiree. They also stage their own showcase concerts in London and for the last 5 years have taken their brand of musical campery to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The Edinburgh shows have enjoyed great success (winning an official Fringe Sell Out Award in 2011) and have established a presence at the Fringe with their tongue-in-cheek shows There's No Place Like Homo, Oklahomo, Thoroughly Modern Willie, Little Shop of Homos and this year's Hi-De-Homo!
