Lily Allen is changing her stage name to Lily Rose Cooper.

After her marriage to Sam Cooper last year, Lily's publicist stated: "The singer will now be known as Lily Rose Cooper, the name she already uses on her Twitter account."

Lily quit the music scene in 2010 and set up her own fashion label, which has been relatively successful, but she has tweeted recently she has been back in the recording studio recording new tracks.

No date has been set but Lily, who is expecting her second child with Sam later this year, has quoted "It's great to work at my own pace, with no commitments other than to make music.

I'm excited to be heading back into the studio."
