Darren Criss tops gay Hot 100 poll

Heartthrob Darren Criss has come out on top after being voted Number One hot by gay men on AfterElton.com's annual The Hot 100 poll.

Criss, who plays openly-gay Blaine in the US smash hit Glee, shot straight to the top of the chart after not even charting in the poll last year.

AfterElton said about the latest ‘straight’ leader of chart: “Given the popularity of Glee, his making The AfterElton Hot 100 was probably a given, but even we didn't expect him to rocket to the number one.”

Outlandish rocker Adam Lambert came in at second place and Criss’s co-star and on-screen lover Chris Colfer came in at third.
