Simon Cowell's production company has confirmed that Cheryl Cole has bagged her spot on the US X-Factor panel over the pond after what has seemed to be the longest wait to find out the outcome of a job interview.

So far it has been confirmed that along with Cheryl taking to her seat next to the music mogul Cowell and also alongside record producer L.A. Reid.

The Geordie lass apparently said about her new venture “I can't wait to get started.”

Cowell said about his top girl: 'I'm thrilled for Cheryl.

She is massively excited about this show, and has been fantastic to work with. She is also a complete brat. Most importantly, this girl can spot talent.'
