Dannii Minogue has revealed that she won’t be taking her seat on the judging panel for the X-Factor auditions, as she will be having her baby in Australia.

The Aussie pop sensation has confirmed that she won’t be attending the nationwide tour for Britain’s next pop sensation, as she will back home Down Under having her first baby.

She has still insisted that she would love to be a part of the show and hopefully return in time for the live shows after she has given birth, she tweeted to her fans: "I have not quit The X Factor - if possible I would love to be a part of the live shows and continue to fly the Team Minogue flag."

Dannii, 38, who joined the X-Factor back in 2007, Spoke to the Daily Mirror at the Elle Style Awards earlier this week, she said: "When the live auditions will be happening I will be in Australia giving birth, so I'm not being able to do that, unfortunately.



"I'm sure they will cope without me for a while."

Contact music also reported that the singer said she will miss her fellow judges during her maternity leave, saying "I will miss Cheryl, Louis and Simon, and not being there for the auditions, but I really need to be near my family in Australia at such an important time.
Danni and her boyfriend, ex-rugby player Kris Smith, are expecting their first child in the summer.
