Music legend Elton John has praised pop sensation Lady Gaga for her latest song to be released which he says is a certain gay anthem.

The eccenttic singer, 24, is due to release her next single 'Born This Way' soon and Elton is said to be in love with the chart toppers next hit.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Elton, 63, said: "She and I come from exactly the same place... I love her and I love her ability to write."



"It's amazing. 'Born This Way', which is the title song, will completely get rid of Gloria Gaynor's 'I Will Survive'. This is the new I Will Survive... This is the new gay anthem."

Gaga’s next album is due for release next year,
