Following Lady Gaga’s powerful speech at Portland, about the repeal of the DADT law that prevents people serving openly as gay in the US army, betting agent William Hill has now started taking bets that the passionate gay rights speaker could be the next US President.

William Hill is offering its punters to place their money on the bid that the Bad Romance singer could be the next resident to put up her feet up in the White House and make it her very own ‘Haus of Gaga.’

The betting organisation offers 100/1 that Gaga becomes President at some point in the future and 500/1 that she replaces Barak Obama during his time.

Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams reportedly said: "It is a serious longshot but if you had asked about Ronald Reagan in the 60s people would have thought you were GaGa!"
