Chris Colfer has revealed that he would have a gay kiss on the hit show Glee as his character Kurt is embarking on his first same-sex relationship when the show comes back this autumn.

Following Ryan Murphy confirming that the youngster will be finding his first boyfriend in Season 2 and Colfer has revealed that he will be happy to have an onscreen kiss with another man but is unsure how some areas in America would deal with it.

Speaking to E! Online he said: "I don't know how middle America would feel about it, but if it's done in a tasteful way [it wouldn't be a problem for me]...

I want it to be very cute and have people go, 'Aww!'"

Show creators and actors have been teasing us with what to expect including a Britney episode but all have refused to give away too much, teasing us with a bit more of what to expect from the relationship, he said: "I can't say anything without getting in trouble these days," "We're going to be the power couple of the school. We better be."
