As Dublin gears up for its Pride festival launch night on the 18th of June, thousands of LGBT people are expected to turn out for the nine day event.

The festival promises to cater for all tastes and age groups and will run up until the PRIDE Parade day on the 26th June 2010.
This year sees the launch of a dedicated arts event which includes the first Pride Film Shorts competition, art exhibitions and a literary and poetry night.

Dublin Pride is also interested in hearing from anyone who can play the guitar and or sing as during the festival there are a few spots left to showcase your singing and or song writing, giving you the chance to take to the stage and wow the crowd at the Button Factory.
