A student was reportedly asked to remove his T-shirt that read, I (heart) Lady Gay Gay, at a Tennessee High School.

Cole Goforth, revealed that his sexual orientation is known all around the school and he has previously worn a shit that also use the word ‘gay’ on it without any problems.

Assistant Director of the School Board, Danny Weeks, said about the incident "We've had a few disruptions the last few days, and we thought the slogan on that shirt would continue to escalate those incidents that had occurred,"

Cole and his mother are said to be furious with the schools discrimination, Cole said, "I just think my sexuality isn't widely accepted around here, so of course they are going to single me out,"

Lady Ga Ga is widely known as gay icon amongst the LGBT community and continues to do work on gay rights.
