They were later arrested by the police for "failure to obey a lawful order." After being asked to remove themselves from the fence.
Both men are openly gay soldiers who are avid critics of the “don’t ask, don’t tell” law which bans homosexuals from serving openly with the army. It is currently in motion to attempt to abolish the law.
