Paris Hilton's documentary has been axed in the backlash over her comments in the back of a taxi last month where she said that most gay guys "probably have AIDS".

The documentary, due to be shown on gay-focused US TV channel 'Logo', has been shelved after Logo producers felt it would be inappropriate to air after her remarks.

It seems that even though she issued an apology on the GLAAD website, it has not been enough to pacify the press or the gay community, and whether this will affect her future commitments is yet to be seen.
