Sacked Nazi fetish official blames childhood

Council official who was sacked after his explicitly offensive sexual fetish was revealed has blamed his actions on his traumatic childhood.

Gareth Mead had his wolrd turned upside down last month after his bizarre and anti-Semitic sexual fetish was exposed for all to view.

Mead, 44, was removed from his position as Hammersmith and Fulham’s Assistant Director after he was found to have sent “grossly offensive” texts and online messages to do with the Nazi sex games.

The official, who was previously on £80,000-a-year, has today blamed his sexual antics on a past of abuse and rejection claiming it was a way for him to vent his anger.

Speaking about the sexual messages which happened eight years ago and his troubled past Mead said: “In my private sex life I could express that frustration and anger in a really safe way,”

“I haven't committed a crime. I've experienced that discrimination and prejudice and I've experienced people's fists as a result of that feeling. There's no way I want to do that to.”

Speaking to Inside Housing magazine about his dismissal from his position, he says: “I'm not a racist, never have been a racist. I have never been a Nazi. There's a big difference between fantasy role-playing and a silly sex game, and real life.

“I completely accept my responsibility in this situation. It was me who got involved in this scene. Obviously I never intended for any of this to become public, but I have to take it.”

The Nazi sex scene would feature many dressing up and posting offensive slogans against Jews and other races. In one of Meads messages online he stood infront of a swastika posting ‘Gas the Jews and Wogs.’

Discussing the offensive messages he said: “I was sending text messages of that ilk, of that tone,”

“If you have a sexual fetish, you use the internet, instant messaging, emails, to reach out to other people who are into that, and text messaging is an extension of that.”
