The UKs first ever LGBT History Month magazine is being launched with the support of Angela Eagle.

Talent Media, the parent company of Pinkwire.co.uk and Pinkwire magazine are one of the country’s leading diversity magazine publishers with a portfolio reaching across all LGBT, BME, Women and Youth communities.

Darren Waite Director of Talent Media said: “We are very excited to be launching the first ever LGBT History Month Magazine, it has been needed for a long time. The response that we have got from the community has been very positive and this is reflected in the high profile LGBT people who have contributed to the magazine.”

Content has been provided from the likes of Angela Eagle, Peter Tatchell, Stonewall, The Rainbow Network and Pride London.

Darren continued: “I would also like to say a special thanks to Sue Sanders and Tony Fenwick who started LGBT History Month for being so supportive and supplying us with all of their events listings for the hundreds of functions taking place up and down the country this February.”

The magazine will officially be launching online next Friday and has already been creating buzz within the community.

Angela Eagle MP said: “I am pleased to be a part of LGBT History Month Magazine, celebrating our diverse community and contribution that we have made to society. Our past, present and future are all reflected inside this magazine and I for one am very proud to be marking this important month.”
