Tom Daley Dives Out

Tom Daley has gone onto YouTube and broadcasted a video to tell the world he likes guys.

Almost three months to the day after stating in the press that he wasn't gay, he put up a five minute candid video explaining to his fans that since April this year he has been seeing someone who "just happens to be a guy".

Whilst this may not be the biggest shock to many, his eloquent message was a very sweet and brave thing to do. However, Twitter has seen a large number of negative responses - some even going as far as saying it was all a big publicity stunt ahead of the return of his diving show 'Splash!"

Whatever the reason, the real question should be who is it? We're hoping it's Matthew Mitcham - imagine the dives.

Whoever it is, we at Pinkwire are thrilled to have him on our team, and even more thrilled that he has met someone and "couldn't be happier".
